Well, your eyes are watering when catching a cold due to your ear, nose and throat being connected. Your frontal sinuses and your nose will release pressure when you feel irritated and then your eyes will water. It is just a symptom of cold, and if you take some pills to cure the cold, the eye watering will disappear with your cold. However, there is also another way here that may help you. You can use a used green tea bag in the fridge to cold it and then put it on your eyelid, and you have to ensure that it is clean and free of bacteria. Later make it stay on your eyelid for 20 min. I hope this work for you and wish you could recover very soon.

Don't worry too much. You can apply a warm compress that will relieve your watery eyes. Besides, green tea especially the cold green tea can help. You can apply place one tea bag over each eyelid, which can work. Also getting enough sleep is a good way to help you get rid of tearing eyes. BTW, taking medicine to cure the cold. Hope you get better soon.
